individual participant.
To overcome initial nerves through the preparation
of a logical structure for the ideas to be presented. To learn to
plan to talk to a time limit - and how to keep to it.
To encourage body language that radiates confidence
and a sense of purpose. Helping with the special needs of those
delegates who will not be speaking in their mother-tongue or talking
to such audiences.
To give each participant four opportunities to
practice professional/ social presentations: to inform, to persuade,
to mark an occasion, and to answer questions. By the use of video
and group discussion, to improve voice, clarity of speaking and
non-verbal signals.
Skills with visual aids. To enable presenters to
select and design visual aids which create interest, help understanding
and make the message more memorable.
